Visa noted that in a number of media outlets in Uzbekistan published incorrect information regarding the termination of servicing Visa cards issued by Uzpromstroybank and its associated participants.

Visa stated that work with Uzpromstroybank and other Visa partner banks in the country is proceeding in a standard mode, processing of transactions with Visa cards is smooth.

“If Visa cardholders have any questions about servicing cards issued by the bank before 01.07.2021, we recommend that they contact the card issuing bank,” Visa said in a statement.
