Participants of Tashkent children biennale-2012 awarded in Austria
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A ceremony of handing over diplomas and medals of the Fourth International biennale of children paintings “Joy of Tashkent” to two school girls has been held at general school “Glasergasse 8” in Vienna, Austria.

Over 60 teachers and schools participated at the event, which was organized by charity organization “Lions Club Ostarrichi”.

Izabella Wimmer and Julia Hanzel received diplomas and gifts. Izabella Wimmer said she did not expect that her work was noted among 2,000 works. She underlined that she is interested with Great Silk road and Uzbekistan with its ancient cities Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva is its heart. She said she dreams to visit Uzbekistan.

Julia Hanzel said she heard about Uzbekistan from her parents and added that she wants to visit Uzbekistan in future.

Within the ceremony, Fund Forum also organized a presentation of its activities and other projects. In particular, the Austrian youth received information about Kelajak Ovozi, Yangi Avlod, Art Week Style.uz, Asrlar Sadosi and others.

The Fourth International biennale of children paintings “Joy of Tashkent” was held in Tashkent on 10-15 December 2012. Some 2,00 works of children at the age from 5 to 15 from 27 countries participated at the contest.
