Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Jondor district of Bukhara region, on 2 April, a part of the bridge over the Zarafshan River collapsed while a heavy truck was passing.
The incident did not result in injuries, the district khokimiyat reported. A working group was created that began studying the causes of the incident.
In February, in Mubarek district of Kashkadarya, a similar bridge collapse occurred during the passage of a truck. No one was hurt then.
Also at the end of March, due to rainfall in Urgut district of Samarkand region and Kitab district of Kashkadarya, bridges were destroyed due to rising water levels in the rivers. Both bridges have been restored.
