Parents, attempting to sell their three-month-old baby for US$300, detained

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent city police conducted operational activities, during which citizens P.G. and G.P. were detained when they were selling their three-month-old baby for US$300 to citizen N.I. in the massif A. Yugnakiy in M.Ulugbek district.

On this fact, in relation to P.G. and G.P. a criminal case has been opened under clause “a” of part 3 of article 135 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Investigative actions are underway.
