In his message, the Prime Minister said: “On behalf of the government and the people of Pakistan and my own behalf, kindly accept Excellency, our warm greetings on the happy occasion of the 18th Independence Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan.”

“Pakistan and Uzbekistan, and the people of the two countries enjoy close friendly relations. I and my government will personally make an effort to deepen and expand these mutually beneficial relationships in all fields.”

“Uzbekistan has progressed greatly in all spheres under your able leadership. I wish Your Excellency sound health, happiness and the people of the Republic of Uzbekistan peace and prosperity in the years to come,” he added.
