Pakhtakor youngsters win intl tournament in Kazakhstan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Academy of Pakhtakor Tashkent won an international tournament in Kazakhstan. Pakhtakor youngsters at the age of 13 participated in the tournament of Chimkent Governor.
Pakhtakor press service said 13 teams from Kazakhstan and neighbouring states participated at the tournament. The teams were divided into two groups.
The Uzbek club won five matches within tournament without conceding single goal. Pakhtakor defeated Locomotive Astana (4-0), Atyrau city team (3-0), EMBA Aktyuba (1-0), GDSYuSh Chimkent (3-0) and OSShI Chimkent (2-0).
In the final match, the Tashkent club faced OSDYuShOR of Chimkent and claimed the victory with the score 2-1. Shakhzod Anvarov and Azamat Sadykov scored for Pakhtakor.
Pakhtakor’s Shokhrukh Raimov also won the prize for the Best Goalkeeper of the tournament.
