Miodrag Radulovic fielded three new signees – Milorad Janjus, Askar Jedegerov and Artur Gevorkyan. Turkmenistan’s Gevorkyan became the hero of the match, scoring the only goal.

Gevorkyan received pass from Janjus inside goal zone and netted the ball from 13-14 meters. Pakhtakor had some good chances, but they failed to convert them into goal.

Al Ain had chance to equalize at the end of the match, but they cannot score from free-kick just inside the box.

Uzbekistan Cup holder, Pakhtakor, grabbed all three points from the match.
