Tashkent club dominated in early stages and the Russian side made only one shot towards Pakhtakor goal. In its turn, Pakhtakor created several chances, mainly due to efforts of defender Ilkhom Suyunov.

Serbian striker Milorad Janjus opened the score close to the first half after cross of new player Artur Gevorkyan.

Ten minutes later, another new Pakhtakor player Askar Jadigerov doubled the lead of the Uzbek club.

However, Terek equalized the score thanks to efforts of Argentinian Ector Brakamonte and Bulgarian Blagoy Georgiev. The match ended with 2-2 draw.
