Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Belgian football club Royal Antwerp has officially signed a contract with 20-year-old midfielder Muhammadali Urinboev.

The transfer fee amounted to €750,000, and the agreement with the player is valid until 30 June 2029.

Urinboev will wear the number 19 shirt at his new club. This move marks a significant milestone not only in the young midfielder’s career but also in the history of Uzbek football, as he becomes the first player from Uzbekistan to join the Belgian league.

In the current season, while playing for Tashkent-based Pakhtakor, Muhammadali made 14 appearances, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists.

Antwerp is one of Belgium’s oldest and most decorated football clubs, boasting five national league titles.
