Vladislav Kiryan opened the scoring against the Uzbek league strugglers ten minutes from the interval before the win was sealed in the 52nd minute courtesy of Alexander Geynrikh, scorer of Pakhtakor’s fourth goal in their emphatic win over the Iraqi champions in Jordan.

Pakhtakor’s victory over Metallurg kept them four points behind Uzbek league leaders and fellow ACL qualifiers Kuruvchi, who maintained their 100% record with a narrow 1-0 win away to AGMK.
