Pakhtakor draw hands Bonyodkor title

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Bunyodkor were handed the Uzbekistan League title after Ivan Nagaev’s last-minute goal meant Metallurg Bekabad held Pakhtakor to a 1-1 draw.

Visitors Pakhtakor, who needed all three points to maintain their slim title hopes, went ahead just before the break through Aleksandr Geynrikh.

But Nagaev struck late on for Bekabad to end Pakhtakor’s title bid and ensure Bunyodkor retained their crown.
