Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An own goal by Estonia's Alo Barengrub four minutes from time saved AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011™ Group A hopefuls Uzbekistan another humiliation as the Vadim Abramov's men held the visiting Eastern Europeans 3-3 in an international on Tuesday.

Uzbekistan went into the match after losing three of their previous warm-up games to Armenia (3-1), Albania (1-0) and Russian giants Lokomotiv Moscow (2-1) and the result is sure to have given Abramov some respite.

The hosts drew first blood through Ats Purje five minutes before the half hour mark but Maksim Shatskikh, who struts his stuff for Ukraine outfit Arsenal, restored parity five minutes before the breather.

Alexander Geynrikh put the Central Asians ahead five minutes before the hour mark only to see Konstantin Vassiljev make it 2-2 seven minutes later.

Uzbekistan conceded a penalty in the 71st minute and Vassiljev made no mistake from the spot to put the hosts ahead 3-2.

The Central Asians, playing without former AFC Player of the Year and FC Seoul midfielder Server Djeparov, were awarded a freekick in the 86th minute and Barengrub mishit Shatskikh’s shot into his own net to make it 3-3.

Uzbekistan will play hosts Qatar in the opening match of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011™ on January 7. They will also play Kuwait and China in the group phase of the continental championship.
