Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – According to preliminary data from the State Statistics Committee, 9,000 British citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes from January to June 2024.

This number represents an increase of 2,300 people, or 34.5%, compared to the same period of last year.

The breakdown of British citizens entering Uzbekistan from January to June 2024 is as follows:

- Leisure and recreation: 7,370 people

- Visiting relatives: 862 people

- Business: 679 people

- Commercial: 32 people

- Education: 31 people

- Medical treatment: 2 people
