Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the National Committee on Statistics of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1,032,000 Uzbek citizens traveled abroad in the first two months of 2025.

This represents an increase of 182,000 people, or 21.4%, compared to the same period in 2024.

The primary reasons for traveling abroad were as follows: 795,461 people visited relatives, 220,771 traveled for tourism, 8,720 sought medical treatment, 5,191 went abroad for education, and 2,018 traveled on business trips.
