Over 571 million soums of fines collected in one day

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 30 January 2019, a working groups from among the staff of Tashkent road police and the Bureau of Compulsory Execution under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan launched joint activities to identify drivers, who did not pay the fine for violation traffic regulations.

After announcement of this campaign, 125 drivers paid the fine themselves for various violations of the traffic regulations.

In just one day – on 30 January - 1,071 people paid the fine, the total amount of fines paid was 571.05 million soums.

On 30 January, working groups on the roads of Tashkent revealed 712 drivers, who were in arrears of fines for violating traffic rules. As a result, the total amount of the fine paid by them (in the nearest branch of the bank, through the electronic payment system) was 236.78 million soums.

AT the same time, 22 vehicles were placed on the penalty area.
