Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to October 2024, more than 342,810 vehicles were sold in Uzbekistan, according to data from Uzavtosanoat JSC.
UzAuto Motors held the largest market share, selling 304,980 vehicles, accounting for 88.9% of total sales.
AMD Jizzakh sold 23,330 vehicles (6.8% of the market), while BYD Uzbekistan Factory sold 13,580 vehicles (4% of the market).
Other companies, such as Jizzakh Auto (361 vehicles, 0.1%), Asaka Motors (319 vehicles, 0.1%), and SamAuto (234 vehicles, 0.1%), had smaller market shares.
The top five brands in the market were led by Chevrolet with 304,980 vehicles sold, followed by Kia (14,900), BYD (13,580), Chery (6,210), and Haval (2,220).
The most popular model was the Chevrolet Cobalt, with 112,440 units sold over the 10 months of 2024.
It was followed by the Chevrolet Damas (84,510), Chevrolet Tracker (34,070), Chevrolet Onix (29,750), and Chevrolet Labo (21,600).
