Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to December 2024, 229,300 citizens of Uzbekistan traveled to Türkiye for tourism purposes, according to the Statistics Agency.

Compared to the same period in 2023, this figure increased by 41,500 people, representing a 22.1% rise.

According to the agency’s data, 174,102 people traveled to Türkiye for tourism, while 46,656 went to visit relatives.

In addition, 4,116 citizens traveled for medical treatment, 2,711 went for educational purposes, and 1,671 people traveled on business trips.
