The session of the government noted that 70% of created jobs or 152,400 were created in rural areas of Uzbekistan.
The government underlined that Uzbekistan created 54,200 outwork jobs in the reporting period thanks to adopted measures in the sector.
The ministries and departments, local administrations are paying special attention to establishing ties between enterprises and professional colleagues, creating conditions for 430,000 graduates of colleges to undergo internship at their future work places.
The session said that over 75% of people, employed in the economy of Uzbekistan, are employed by small businesses and private entrepreneurship.
The government’s session criticized activity of governors in some district for shortages in creation of new jobs and ensuring employment of college graduates.
Uzbekistan is planning to create over 950,000 new jobs in 2011, including in rural areas. It is planned to create 600,000 new jobs in small business sector.
The Government of Uzbekistan is expecting to provide 450,000 jobs to graduates of professional colleges.
