Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of 1 January 2025, there are 14,871 enterprises and organizations with foreign capital operating in the country, according to the Uzbekistan Statistics Agency.
This reflects the continuous growth of Uzbekistan’s attractiveness to foreign investors and demonstrates the country’s progress in developing its economy.
The leading countries by the number of enterprises with foreign participation are:
China: 3,357 enterprises
Russia: 2,937 enterprises
Turkey: 1,826 enterprises
Following them are Kazakhstan (1,041 enterprises), South Korea (644 enterprises), and the United States (304 enterprises). This confirms the diversification of investment flows into Uzbekistan and highlights the country’s appeal to investors from various nations.
The growth in the number of enterprises with foreign participation positively impacts various sectors of Uzbekistan’s economy, creating new jobs and stimulating economic growth.
