Over 11,000 children to receive Presidential gifts

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Children of “Mehribonlik” houses and from low-income families, as well as those, lost of the breadwinner will receive New Year presents from the President of Uzbekistan.

In total, this year 11,000 gifts, consisting of school supplies of 11 items and sweets of 17 items, were prepared.

More than 1629 gifts were delivered to Tashkent, Syrdarya, and Jizzakh regions by motor transport.

Uzbekistan Airways delivered about 6468 gifts to nine regions and Karakalpakstan.

Gifts will be presented to children in a festive atmosphere at the events of the “Presidential Christmas Tree”, which will be held on 29 December in Karakalpakstan, Tashkent and in all areas.
