Orient Finans Bank to increase charter capital by 15%
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Orient Finans private closed joint stock commercial bank increased its charter capital by 15% from 11.48 billion soums to 13.2 billion soums, the bank’s press service said.

The charter capital was increased to implement presidential resolution “On priority directions of further reforming and increasing sustainability of financial-banking system of Uzbekistan in 2011-2015 and achievement high international rating figure” from 26 November 2010.

The bank said that the charter capital was increased due to direction of undistributed net income of 2010 and part of net income for nine months of 2011 at the size of 1.7 billion soums. The bank said it raised nominal value of shares.

The press service of the bank added that aggregate capital of Orient Finans Bank rose by 28.4% and as of 1 January 2012 made up 14.8 billion soums.

Central Bank of Uzbekistan registered Orient Finans in June 2010 and issued a corresponding license. Priority directions of Orient Finans activities are to assist to deepen social-economic reforms, finance small and private business, as well as stimulate new class of owners in Uzbekistan.
