Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of the Uzbekistan Consulate General discussed the opening of a showroom for Uzbek products with the management of the local LIUHUA market, Dunyo news agency reported.

During negotiations with Vice President Pin Chen of the market administration, opinions were exchanged on expanding mutual trade and allocating space for the showroom. It is planned to showcase domestic agricultural products, handicrafts, Uzbek silk, and textiles.

The LIUHUA market is located in the central district of Guangzhou, covering a total area of 30,000 square meters. The market attracts buyers not only from the city but also from other provinces and abroad.

During the meeting, the Chinese side emphasized that our countries have traded with each other since ancient times, and the Great Silk Road played an important role in this. Today, economic ties are actively developing, and effective interregional cooperation has been established. In this regard, the LIUHUA market is ready to contribute to these processes.

Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached to open a showroom for Uzbek products and organize a major exhibition titled "Made in Uzbekistan." Chinese partners also proposed selling Uzbek products through the LIUHUA Market online platform.
