Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Another online fencing competition has started in Uzbekistan. According to the regulations, at first there was a qualifying stage among epee, saber fencers and foil fencers. The total number of participants was about 150 athletes.

These competitions are held on the ZOOM platform. The final will run on 16-18 September and will be broadcast live on www.youtube.com.

According to the Regulations for the online competition of the FFU, in the preliminary qualifying stage, fencers will be evaluated mainly by demonstrating demonstrative special elements of attack and defense, taking into account modern tactics (sword, saber, foil) fighting. Execution time - from 45 sec to 1 min.

The athlete who performs the task better than the opponent is awarded from 1-5 points. The winner in the bullet is determined by the sum of the points scored, and then - according to the Olympic system.

It should be noted that the competition is being watched by representatives: three-time Olympic champion in fencing Vladimir Nazlymov, foreign specialist Martin Kamadjiev and local coaches.
