Ongoing work on the development of tourism in Bukhara region is being studied

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The tourism sector continues to develop rapidly during the pandemic. In particular, a working group consisting of representatives of the State Committee for Tourism Development, currently in Bukhara Region, is familiarizing themselves with the work being carried out in the region on the implementation of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 7, 2018 No. 631 “On the organization of family guest activities houses ".

The working group also got acquainted with the ongoing work on the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 13 August 2019 No. 5781 “On measures for the further development of the tourism sector in the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

The representatives of the working group got acquainted with the process of large-scale construction work in tourist villages on Arabon street in Bukhara and Shirin village of Vobkent district. It is worth noting that the village of Shirin, along with its rich tourist potential, is also distinguished by its ancient customs and amazing nature.

According to the resolution, the territory provides for the creation of 20 family guest houses, and to date, about 10 applications for the launch of this activity from initiative citizens living in this area have already been accepted.

It should be noted that roads and objects of roadside tourist infrastructure leading to tourist villages are being repaired, gas and electric networks are being reconstructed, landscaping and landscaping are being carried out.

The working group carried out extensive propaganda work on the organization of craft centers and family guest houses on these tourist streets, as well as the initiators were given the necessary recommendations and suggestions.

In Bukhara region there are 362 accommodation facilities, which include 3732 rooms and 8526 beds. Of these, 151 hotels, 65 hostels and 146 family guest houses. In addition, until 2021, the creation of 13 "tourist mahallas" is provided for in the cities and regions of the region.
