Macki stressed that the exchange of visits among officials of the two countries is achieving envisaged goals and reaffirming the two sides’ keenness to achieve economic and investment growth. He stressed the Oman government’s desire to establish join investment ventures that develop bilateral relations with Uzbekistan. He noted that the two sides have signed an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation and another on encouragement and protection of joint investment.
Ganiyev expressed his delight at visiting the Sultanate. He pointed out that there are a number of ventures that the government of his country is planning to undertake in oil, gas and petrochemicals sectors and in different industrial ventures in construction, buildings, and infrastructure sectors.
He stressed the investment opportunities could be beneficial to the public and private sectors in both countries. The two sides agreed to set up joint working teams that would explore the possibility of benefiting from the capacities of each side.
