Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 5 February, a formal welcoming ceremony for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, took place at the Perdana Putra government complex in Kuala Lumpur.

The Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim, greeted the Uzbek leader.

As a mark of respect for the high-ranking guest, a guard of honor was lined up, and the national anthems of both countries were played.

After inspecting the guard of honor, President Mirziyoyev greeted members of the official delegations and diplomatic representatives.

The ceremony was followed by high-level talks between the two leaders.
