Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 8 August, an official reception ceremony was held at the Akorda residence for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

In honor of the distinguished guest, a ceremonial guard was formed. The national anthems of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan were played. The leaders of the two countries inspected the ceremonial guard. A joint photograph was taken.

Currently, talks are underway between the heads of state in a closed format. The parties are discussing current issues regarding the further development and deepening of Uzbek-Kazakh strategic partnership and alliance relations.
