Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan international midfielder Odil Akhmedov will stay at Anzhi Makhachkala, a player said in interview to Sovetskiy Sport newspaper.

Odil Akhmedov said he was surprised with the decision of the club management on decreasing the expenses of the club. At the same time, he added that he stays at the club.

Uzbekistan international midfielder added that he is ready to cut his salary with the club.

Russian media reported that Zenit and Krasnodar are expressing interest in midfielder Odil Akhmedov.
