Odil Ahmedov, Igor Shkvirin named the best in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan Football Federation named the best player and the best coach of 2009 on 25 December 2009. About 155 journalists from various media outlets participated at the voting.
Captain of Pakhtakor Tashkent Odil Ahmedov collected 329 points and became the Best Player in 2009. Bunyodkor’s Rivaldo and Jasur Khasanov were second and third with 193 and 86 points respectively.
Coach of Almalyk Igor Shkvirin was announced the Best Coach of the year with 322 points.
