Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — JSC OCTAGRAM, which owns the payment service Paylov, has registered a share issuance totaling approximately 27.85 billion soums.
According to the company, this issuance will consist of 27,847,924 common shares with a nominal value of 1,000 soums each. The total amount of the issuance will be 27.845 billion soums.
These shares will be offered through a private subscription.
Paylov, founded in December 2020, provides financial and lifestyle services, according to its official website.
It is noteworthy that in late November 2023, the President of Uzbekistan signed a resolution “On measures to strengthen consumer protection for digital products (services) and combat offenses committed using digital technologies.”
According to this document, starting from 1 July 2024, payment system operators and payment organizations will be able to operate only in the form of joint-stock companies.
