On 5 May, solemn reception for front-line soldiers and support workers from Tashkent region and city was held at Ezidiyor restaurant. About 400 veterans visited the event, which was organized in cooperation with Nuroniy Fund at the support of Beeline.

Erkin Bakibaev, chairman of the Nuroniy Central Council, said: “World War Two participants are honoured and cared in Uzbekistan. The Government of Uzbekistan, our fund and other public organizations provided support to veterans. It is pleasant that large companies this noble work. I want to express gratitude to Beeline for initiative and organization of this holiday.”

The organizer prepared holiday table and gifts for participants. Local singers, including Mansur Tashmatov, Shukhrat Vahidov, Alisher Fayz and others, performed their songs.

Andrei Anisimov, acting director-general of Beeline, said: “The holiday name has deep meaning, each citizen remember and honour defenders, who defended our life and freedom in this dreadful war. All we know that almost 1.5 million citizens of Uzbekistan participated at the war, while many more people worked in rear. ”
