Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Judo competitions are held at the Nippon Budokan arena as part of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Our judoka Sardor Nurillaev (-66 kg) had the first fight.

Nurillaev went to the tatami against Denis Vieru from Moldova. The outcome of the confrontation was decided by additional minutes (golden score). Our representative could not continue the fight due to his injury and on the 12th minute a judoka from Moldova won.

Unfortunately, another athlete of Uzbekistan, Diyora Keldiyorova (-52 kg), lost to Sosorbare Lhagvasuren from Mongolia and completed her participation in the individual direction.

Nurillaev and Keldiyorova have the opportunity to take part in the team-mix tournament.
