Russia’s Mobile TeleSystems, largest mobile communication operator in Russia and the CIS states, said that the subscriber base of the company grew by 1.7% or 150,000 users compared to November 2010.

Number of subscribers of MTS-Uzbekistan increased by 24.2% or 1.71 million users compared to the same period of 2009.

Consolidated number of subscribers of Mobile TeleSystems OJSC made up 103.35 million users as of 31 December 2010. In December 2010, the consolidated subscriber base of MTS grew by 1.72 million users.

MTS-Uzbekistan (Uzdunrobita) is one of the largest mobile operators in Uzbekistan. From August 2004, the operator enters to structure of Mobile TeleSystems OJSC (Russia).
