Number of mobile subscribers per 100 persons makes up 66 units

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Number of internet subscribers per 100 persons in Uzbekistan makes up 36.52 units, according to data of the Deputy Chairperson of the State Committee on communication, information and telecommunication technologies Alisher Fayzullaev at ICT Summit in Tashkent.

According to his data, number of mobile subscribers makes up 66 per 100 inhabitants, while number of fixed telephony subscribers – almost 7 per 100 inhabitants.

Some 924 providers and operators work in Uzbekistan. Speed of external internal channel exceeds 12740 Mbps.

Number of broadband internet users made up 1.2 per 100 people, and mobile broadband internet – 20.36 per 100 inhabitants.
