Number of mobile Internet users in Uzbekistan reaches 3.36m

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Number of mobile Internet users in Uzbekistan made up 3.36 million as of 1 July 2010, a Deputy Director-General of the Uzbek Agency for Communication and Information (UzACI) Asad Khodjaev said at the ICT Summit in Tashkent.

Asad Khodjaev underlined that the number of Internet users in Uzbekistan comprised 6.3 million people as of 1 July 2010.

The UzACI official underlined that about 2.94 million people use Internet through fixed communication network and other part (about 3.36 million) consume mobile internet.
