Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan aims to increase the number of IT Park residents to 3,000 by the end of 2025, according to the draft state program for 2025, which has been published for public review.
Out of the total, at least 250 companies are expected to be export-oriented, including 50 with foreign capital.
As of the end of Q3 2024, IT Park had registered 2,400 resident companies.
It is projected that by the end of 2024, the total value of software products and services provided by IT Park residents will reach 20 trillion soums.
By December 2025, authorities plan to identify and address barriers hindering the growth of IT Park residents. A set of proposals aimed at resolving these issues will be developed to foster the development of the IT sector.
These measures are expected to boost the export of digital technologies and enhance their contribution to Uzbekistan’s economy.
