According to UzACI, number of Internet users, accessing world wide web via fixed telephone lines, reached 3.12 million. This means that 111 users per 1,000 population access Internet with help of personal computers.

At the same time, number of mobile Internet users made up 3.504 million, which shows popularity of use of mobile handsets to access world wide web.

In the reporting period, the enterprises of communication and information recorded revenue for 1.391 trillion soums and rendered services to population for 850.2 billion soums.

As of 1 October 2010, number business entities, rendering data transfer services, including Internet access, reached 965. Total number of collective internet access made up 1,021.

Total speed of external Internet channel in Uzbekistan reached 1890 Mbps, which is up 59.5% compared to the same period of 2009.

Cost of international channels was decreased by 49%, which should also cut prices for services of Internet providers.

Number of domains, registered at .UZ domain zone, currently reached 10,700, while number of e-signature users made up about 136,893.
