NTRC employees participate in Chinese seminar

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Three employees of National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan participated at the international seminar for directors-general of new television and radio broadcasting bodies from Central Asia and Eastern Europe from 24 October to 8 November 2013.

The seminar was organized by Ministry of Commerce and China at assistance of the Institute of improving skills under the Main State Management of China on radio broadcasting, cinematography and television.

The Institute of improving skills is an educational base, which provides education of mass media specialists. The body provides re-raining to mass medial workers.

The seminar programme included visits to the Central Television and China International Radio. Beijing radio and television corporation on science and technics, etc. The specialists familiarized with mobile and internet TV, as well as discussed actual issues of developing mass media.

The delegation also familiarized with opportunities of China Central Television on preparing information programmes. The Uzbek side presented information on operations of Uzbekistan and Tashkent television and radio stations.

During the meetings, the representatives of mass media from foreign countries expressed interest in establishing mutual beneficial contacts and cooperation to familiarize international community with achievements and experience of Uzbekistan in mass media development, including in radio and television broadcasting.

The Uzbek media specialists visited to the regions of China to get acquainted with activities of regional television and broadcasting organizations in places and shared their experience in preparing and broadcasting information programmes.
