Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan received an official invitation to the XXXII Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo. The invitation was sent personally by Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee.

“The International Olympic Committee has the honor to invite the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan to the XXXII Summer Olympic Games, which will be held in Tokyo from July 24 to August 9, 2020,” the message of Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee, said.

It should be noted that invitations to the Olympiad are sent to all national committees of countries that are members of the IOC. Currently, 206 countries are on the list of IOC members.

Until today, tennis player Denis Istomin from the members of the national team, Olga Zabelinskaya for cycling, received tickets to the Tokyo Olympics, and for shooting, the Server Ibrahimov will participate in the Paralympics.
