Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Among the victims of a traffic accident in Kochubeev district of Stavropol Territory (Russia) there are no citizens of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

“On 6 March 2019, foreign and national media reported about the alleged death of 6 citizens of Uzbekistan in a traffic accident in Kochubeev district of Stavropol Territory (Russia),” the Uzbek foreign ministry said.

“In this regard, for the possible provision of consular legal assistance to the victims, the consular department of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia promptly contacted representatives of state structures of the district and the region and received official confirmation that there are no Uzbek citizens among the victims of the accident," the Foreign Ministry said.
