NGO “Forum of Socially Responsible Citizens of Uzbekistan” outlines plans for 2013
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Public Council of NGO “Forum of Socially Responsible Citizens of Uzbekistan” held a meeting at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan on 5 February.

Members of the Public Council of NGO “Forum of Socially Responsible Citizens of Uzbekistan”, its regional offices attended the event. The programme of development of the organization was discussed in online regime with all 13 Public Council in the regions.

NGO “Forum of Socially Responsible Citizens of Uzbekistan” held a final conference on 5 December 2012 to sum up results of 2012 and plans for 2013. The programme of development was adopted in the result.

The session discussed all sections of development programme of NGO “Forum of Socially Responsible Citizens of Uzbekistan” for 2013.

Special attention was paid to work with regional Public Councils as local people know better about local problems and can give objective assessment of situation. They also considered solving existing problems at execution of projects and ways of their solutions, as well as communication with beneficiaries. Implementation of social projects was also on focus of the meeting participants.

It was said that NGO and Mahalla Foundation are planning to hold an accomplishment month in March. In particular, it is planned to repair and reconstruct monuments and holly places.

The council also considered a work plan of Uzbekistan Ipagi Association for 2013.

The primary goal of the NGO is to create an interactive system of supporting socially responsible citizens, small businesses, grant recipients as well as regional activists directly involved in the realization of the Forum’s charter goals and objectives which include, but are not limited to, the involvement of participants on a voluntary basis in social programs and projects as partners; provision of administrative support for participants’ relevant proposals; and carrying out public control in practice.
