New Master Plan for Tashkent until 2045: Digitalization and International Standards

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A press conference was held at the Sputnik Uzbekistan multimedia press center, dedicated to the new master plan for the development of Tashkent until 2045.

Saidazim Sharipov, head of the Urban Planning Documentation Department at the Directorate for the Construction of New Tashkent, spoke about the key changes and objectives outlined in the document.

The main focus is on ensuring the master plan meets international standards and its digital format, which is open for public access.

The development, based on a simplified approach rooted in international experience, allowed for a reduction in timeframes and increased efficiency, aligning with the current demands for construction and architecture in Uzbekistan.

Sharipov emphasized that, despite the adaptation of building regulations since the country's independence, the fundamental principles of urban planning have remained consistent. However, the new master plan takes into account modern realities, particularly the active involvement of private developers.

The document also provides opportunities for investors, ensuring the construction is managed in a way that maintains a balance with infrastructure and transportation networks.
