Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers "On establishing the activities of an IT cluster in the Karakul district of Bukhara region" was adopted, Norma reports.

The Karakul IT cluster will train specialists in the areas of information and communication technologies and the export of IT services.

The cluster will open:

university with modern infrastructure, laboratories and research centers;

export center for remote IT services;

educational laboratories and an incubation center for the development of start-up projects.

Until 31 December 2023, an administrative building, an educational laboratory and educational buildings for 5,600 seats will be built. And by 1 September 2024, it is planned to open a student hostel for 1,300 people, a hotel for 15 people, an incubation center for 100 people, an export center for remote IT services for 200 people, a canteen, sports facilities of open and closed type.
