Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  On 15 November 2024, a meeting took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Akhmet Gurbanov.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized that the leaders of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan have laid a strong foundation for further developing the positive dynamics in bilateral and multilateral relations. The importance of strengthening regional ties between the two countries and enhancing cooperation across various sectors was highlighted.

Specific steps were discussed to expand cooperation, including in the fields of economics, culture, and education.

The parties also agreed on a schedule for upcoming events aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and implementing joint projects.
