According to publication of the Ministry of Economy and the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the enterprises specialize in production of automobile gas cylinders, valves and fittings, as well as products from polymers.
Currently, six more investment projects with total cost of over US$58 million are implemented at the special zone.
Navoi Free Industrial-Economic Zone was founded in line with the presidential decree from December 2008. It was created for 30 years and the term can be extended. Navoi FIEZ is located at 564,000 hectares of land.
During the period, special customs, currency and tax regimes, as well as simplified order of entry and exit, as well as work permission of non-residence of Uzbekistan will be effective at the zone. Tax preferences will apply at minimal volume of investments for 3 million euros.
