Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) is currently holding an international conference on barrier-free tourism together with the government of San Marino.

Within the framework of the international event, Chairman of the Committee on Tourism Umid Shadiev met with the Deputy Minister of Tourism of Saudi Arabia, representative of the royal family - Princess Haifa bint Muhammad Al Saud.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the implementation of the signed bilateral Intergovernmental Memorandum for 2024-2025, development of new tourism products for tourists of the two countries, wide promotion of Uzbekistan’s tourism potential by representatives of Saudi Arabia’s media sphere, as well as cooperation between the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage "Silk Road" and the School of Tourism and Hospitality in Riyadh.
