In line with the decision of the Council, Farhod Karimov has been appointed as the chairperson of the Board of UzAgroSugurta.

Earlier, Farhod Karimov worked as senior manager of the department of finances, management of assets and insurance reserves of Uzbekinvest national export-import insurance company.

The company was founded based on the presidential decree No. 1713 from 25 April 1997. The founders are Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan, Uzpakhtasanoat Association, Agrobank, Qishloqqurilishbank and others.

UzAgrosugurta has over 205 branches and agencies across Uzbekistan. The company said that it collected 28.9 billion soums of insurance premiums, which makes up 16.5% of total insurance premiums collected in Uzbekistan.
