Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A new book on the cultural and natural heritage of our country, “Uzbekistan. The road to Samarkand”, Dunyo reported.
This work is a joint project of Assouline Publishing and the Fund for the Development of Culture and Art under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The author of colorful photographs was the world-famous photographer Laziz Hamani, publisher - Yaffa Assouline.
According to the concept, through photographs and design, the authors of the book tried to repeat the route of the upcoming exhibition in Uzbekistan in 2021 at the Louvre Museum, during which visitors can see the culture of different regions and periods of our country’s history.
By the way, the upcoming exhibition has the working title “Civilization and Culture on the Silk Road”.
It is known that Laziz Hamani spent more than 50 filming days in Uzbekistan and followed the concept of the exhibition to demonstrate the cultural and natural heritage of the country.
In March, the book will appear in publishing stores in 20 countries, and will also be presented in London. In April this year, the book will be presented in Tashkent with the participation of the publisher Yaffa Assouline and photographer Laziz Hamani.
