Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — c
The project will be implemented in the territory of the Special Industrial Park "Navoi Complex for Industrial Development."
An investment agreement was signed at the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan with JSC "Arnest Packaging Solutions" (APS) for the realization of this project.
According to the agreement’s terms, APS will invest around US$100 million. The planned production capacity of the new facility will exceed 1.5 billion cans per year.
The plant is expected to launch in the fall of 2025.
Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Khurram Teshabaev emphasized that the production of aluminum packaging for beverages is a new technology for Uzbekistan. More than 30% of the produced goods are planned for export. The project’s implementation demonstrates the active support of foreign investments by the Uzbekistan government, which offers not only tax incentives and subsidies but also fully prepared infrastructure for foreign investors, including production sites that meet technical requirements.
Alexander Isaev, General Director of APS, noted that "Arnest Packaging Solutions" is a leader in aluminum can production in Russia and the EAEU. Localizing production in Uzbekistan will strengthen the company’s position in export markets in EAEU countries, Central Asia, and the South Caucasus, while also allowing for the redistribution of production volumes in Russia to meet the domestic needs of the Russian market.
