Net income of Ammofos-Maxam drops to 1.465bn soums in 2012

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Net income of Ammofos-Maxam open joint stock company made up 1.465 billion soums in 2012 against 11.124 billion soums in 2011, the financial report of the company said.

According to the balance sheet, net revenue grew from 165.793 billion soums in 2011 to 167.8 billion soums in 2012. Prime cost made up 144.324 billion soums in 2012 against 131.32 billion soums in 2011.

Gross income from realization decreased from 34.468 billion soums to 23.47 billion soums in the reporting period. Expenses also fell from 24.64 billion soums in 2011 to 23.53 billion soums in 2012.

Ammofos-Maxam’s assets reached 234.62 billion soums in 2012 against 205.814 billion soums in 2011. Long-term assets grew from 79.51 billion soums to 81.75 billion soums in the reporting period. Current assets reached 152.865 billion soums in 2012 to 128.504 billion soums in 2011.

Own resources of the companies in 2012 exceeded 54.246 billion soums in 2012 against 53.246 billion soums in 2011. The charter capital was 4.949 billion soums.

Liabilities of the company grew from 154.218 billion soums in 2011 to 180.375 billion soums in 2012.

Ammofos-Maxam open joint stock company is located in Almalyk, Tashkent region. The plant was commissioned in 1969. The enterprise is the largest producer of nitrogenous phosphatic mineral fertilizers in Uzbekistan. It meets 85% of demand of agriculture sector in phosphate fertilizers.

Spain’s Maxam Corp. acquired 49% stake in Ammofos-Maxam OJSC for US$18 million in January 2008. It also undertook investment obligation for US$30 million, which will be directed to modernization of existing capacities.
